10/15/22 – This is my second purchase of a new vehicle from Long-Lewis Ford in the last fourteen months. Both times, I used Darryl Delbridge. It truly was as simple as walking in, picking the vehicle, signing the paperwork and driving away. I do not believe that it is an exaggeration to say that Darryl made the purchase experience no more difficult that buying groceries.

10/6/22 – My purchase experience with Long-Lewis Ford of Birmingham was a very positive one. Daniel, the salesman who handled my sale, was always responsive during the production wait, and took care of my purchase closing with efficiency, courtesy, and respect. I am also most favorably impressed with Long-Lewis’ pricing policy which is structured solely on MSRP, tax, and title. I declined offers from other dealers who do not observe such a pricing structure. I intend to recommend Long-Lewis to any friends/relations/associates who might be in the market for a new or used vehicle.

With straight forward respect you get all the amazing things Ford has to offer to assist you with your purchase. The communications is a smooth process within their ranks. This making the purchase of a new vehicle a solid business transaction. After the miles of Government required paper work. I would commend Long-Lewis for making me think of Ford first when purchasing my next Vehicle. My hat is off to their staff. Travis started it, Les carried it and then my true respect goes to Xavier Jackson. I recommend him to anyone who asks. He is a Good Man.

9/1/22 – I was told my 3 un associated people to come see Blake at Long-Lewis. Considering that and I was needing a new bigger truck I had to come see what was so impressive. Didn’t take me long to understand. Ordering was made very simple by knowledgeable salesman. Waiting for it to come I’m was toughest part but not everything is In our control. Paperwork and financing quick and easy. Thank you for having pleasurable employees that still are focused on the customer. That is becoming rare now days. 8/24/22 – I am so pleased with my buying experience with Long-Lewis Hoover. Karl Wiggs was very knowledgeable and helpful with the selection of my new 2022 Lincoln Nautilus. He provided all information needed for me to make the best selection of the vehicle that I wanted. I had to leave for an appointment and then come back to finish up the purchase. Karl was not going to be in the office when I returned, so before I left he introduced me to Tim Graham – who assisted me when I returned. Branson, the Financial Manager, has a great personality and explained the financing paperwork perfectly. Was truly a great buying experience and I’m enjoying my new Lincoln!

8/15/22 – I was very happy with Long-Lewis Ford and my salesman Les Cunningham. I ordered my Escape on 12/27/21 and he was great to keep me updated on what was happing and checking in with me. The buying process was very low pressure and went much faster than other cars that I have bought in the passed. 8/7/22 – Daniel our salesman was great. I had reach out to several dealers regarding a new mustang. No one had any in stock. When I reach out to you Daniel tried very hard to see if he could find what I was looking for. With no success he suggested I order it and that way I could customize it and get it exactly how I wanted it. He was the only salesman that worked hard to make sure I could make my daughters birthday very meaningful. Although build time took longer than expected it was well worth the wait. No one else at any other dealer even offered this option. I really appreciate all you guys did to make this happen.

7/22/22 – I had a great experience with Long-Lewis Ford. I saw an ad for an F150 and contacted the dealership. I spoke with Xavier Jackson and we started the purchasing process. The truck was not at the dealership at the time and he provide me with consistent updates until the vehicle arrived. The buying process was very smooth and I was out of the dealership with my new vehicle in under 3 hrs. Overall great experience and I would highly recommend Long-Lewis Ford and Xavier Jackson to any one looking to purchase a vehicle.

7/11/22 – We were greeted with a friendly smile and the salesperson was friendly and he answered all our questions and made the process very easy. The car was pre-ordered and came in with some minor problems which the salesperson pointed out. The assistant sales manager came in and introduced himself and promised to take care of any problem we had. It was an easy process.

6/28/22 – Sam was very friendly and personable right from the start, and when he was able to make an appointment for me to order a Ford Maverick last August the very next day after I called, I was thrilled, having been gaslit by Stiver’s Ford for a month without any appointment and pre-orders slipping away. On that appointment, Sam had my order in the system, and stayed in touch throughout the process to let me know about any status updates, or even if it had been a little while just to let me know he was continuing to check on it. When my Maverick finally arrived, he was probably as excited as I was! The entire experience with Sam and the rest of the Long-Lewis team could not have been better or more pleasant. Truly a world-class operation there, deserving of the reputation and legacy preceding them.

6/23/22 – We searched around for someone that would order a truck for us. Most places seemed to have little concern for our needs and tried to sell from the lot. Long-Lewis was very easy to work with and seemed more than happy to work with us. Our sale rep was Paige Langston. She ordered exactly what we wanted, went above and beyond to please us, and gave us an incredible deal. When the truck came in 4 months later with a much higher sticker price, she honored the original out the door price. Everyone at Long-Lewis seemed friendly. They make you feel like they aren’t just interested in a sell but you as a person.

6/23/22 – I have purchased several new vehicles from Long-Lewis Ford of Hoover. The past two purchases my sales rep was Bradley Wilson. I purchased a 21 Ranger from him and then a 22 Escape Hybrid from him. Bradley makes it a breeze from start to finish. While working with him to get the Escape ,which the Hybrid Escape with Sports Appearance package there are only about 3 new that I could find throughout the South East, he recommenced that we put a deposit to hold it in our name. I am glad he recommended that as we put our reservation in around March/April and the vehicle came in June. Thereby allowing us to secure the vehicle. Bradley has done much more than that and I could go on, but I do want Ford and the dealership to know that when we needed another new Ford I sought out him first regardless of dealership. Bradley and the Long-Lewis dealership have always treated us fairly and worked well with us. I will continue to use them with future needs for new Fords.

6/19/22 – Blake did an awesome job from start to finish with my F150 factory order. While other dealers seemingly almost turned me away due to having A-Plan pricing. Blake said it wouldn’t be a problem and showed me how I would be able to get my A-plan pricing through factory ordering. The process on pickup day was smooth and easy. I got a fair offer for my trade and was extremely satisfied with everything. The gentleman that was worked the extended warranty and maintenance plan for us was great as well. He worked with us to get those added on at a price I was happy with. Thank you so much for taking care of us from start to finish.

6/19/22 – From placing an order on Ford website and getting appointment setup with Long-Lewis Ford Hoover was very smooth. I want to recommend Ford Hoover to everyone. My sales person Bradley, he is incredible. Every time I asked him any questions or concerns he will always help even I have disturb him on his vacation but he has always returned my call and answered my question. At time of the delivery of the truck he was there all the time to make sure the ownership process went smoothly.

6/11/22 – Even though we have a Ford dealer very close to our house, we have bought our last several vehicles from Long-Lewis, which is about a 30 minute drive from us. The reason for this is the sales rep, Sam. He is completely honest and we feel he is always looking out for our best interest. The finance people at this dealership are also very friendly and well versed in their job knowledge. We actually look forward to going to this dealership to buy a car.

Previously we had a bad experience with a different dealership, but our sales rep Rusty Patterson assured us that our experience with Ford would be completely different. We thought we would have to wait 3 months for our vehicle which in reality it was only 2 months (even better). The design and feel of the vehicle was superior also. 5/9/22 – I came to Long-Lewis to trade my Ford Escape for another one. I saw this Lincoln Corsair and knew that’s the car I wanted. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I’m a nurse that works a lot of 12-13 hour shifts and only had this day off to make the purchase. They got it all done. Xavier was most helpful. 5/1/22 – Start to finish my car-buying experience was perfect! Long-Lewis allowed me to test drive at my own pace, whichever car I desired and for how long it took for me to make my decision. Rena did frequent check-ins to see if I had questions. Upon my final decision, she made the paperwork seem less, easy, and guided me through implementing the app which would make me organized and help me keep up with anything my Nautilus will need. On the most exciting day when I came to the dealership to finalize paperwork, and pick up my gorgeous Nautilus, Long-Lewis assigned a tech assistant to help me get set up with my phone and walk me through in a hands-on experience of using the technology in my new car. This was a genius and customer-care feature that I really appreciated. Rena had my car washed, shined, and gassed-up ready for me to drive off in utopia. I truly had the best experience. I cannot think of anything that was overlooked by Long-Lewis, a truly detail-oriented dealership!

4/11/22 – My husband and I recently purchased a car from Long-Lewis in Hoover, Alabama. We had not planned on purchasing a vehicle at this time but due to a lightning strike and the amount of time it is taking to access the situation and work with the insurance company to either repair or total our Edge, we purchased a Ford Escape. Due to time and circumstances, our options were limited. Tim Graham helped us find a car that was available with all the necessary options that we required. I am the primary driver and so far I am pleased with the vehicle and its performance. Long-Lewis has a long history of being a dealership that provides it customers with dependable vehicles and with service after the sale.

2/24/22 – Karl Wiggs was amazing from start to finish and even after. He gave me his cell and responded all the time really fast. I bought from FL so drove up in a rental and Karl came and picked me up from the rental facility! He has remained available even after the purchase as little bugs are worked out of the new vehicle and has just been tremendous! So much so, that if the price is right on my next purchase, I’ll drive 5 hours again just to know I’ve got Karl as my agent.

2/16/22 – I needed an SUV, and that is about all that I knew. So when my salesman, Don started working with me on what kind of SUV that I was looking for, he really listened to my needs as far as sales and my concerns as far as gas mileage. He had several options that he was very thorough with me as far as showing me what the options on this car was versus this car. And it was really hard because I’m single and not really knowing what was wide about the cars. And then when I went to do my finance and he helped me get a good rate through Ford Credit, I was really, really excited about that. Once I got my car, he took the time to really show me all the different features that was on my car, and I really loved that part. He helped me get comfortable with my car and I absolutely love it. I got a 2019 Ford Escape and it is absolutely perfect. It’s my dream car. Several people from the dealership called to check to see how my experience was going, and they’ve been very thorough with my paperwork, so I’m super excited. I couldn’t be more pleased with how the whole process went. And to begin with, I was very, very nervous about it. But I do appreciate the fact that I worked with me and really helped me feel relax and make the best purchase possible.

2/9/22 – I had been looking for this truck, with the features and options it had, for about 6 weeks. I spoke with the sales rep Darryl for a bit and was offered the option of putting $300 down to hold the truck, which I did. Long-Lewis waited patiently for me to secure financing through my Credit Union and then again waited until I could travel the over 400 miles to finalize the purchase. No hassles, everything went smoothly, Darryl came in on his day off to meet me, test drive and deliver the truck which is in immaculate condition as I was told and as the photos showed. I drove away a very satisfied customer as I was treated like I was buying a brand new vehicle. Very nice and accommodating folks at Long-Lewis Ford. I’m very much enjoying my truck. 1/12/22 – Branson Montgomery was exceedingly helpful. We were considering the MKX from you or another MKX in Dothan. I didn’t even give him details beyond it being a Lincoln pre-owned certified MKX from a Ford Dealership. From that, he found it and pulled the window sticker. He printed it and pulled a copy of the sticker for yours. From this, we were able to really see the differences between the 2 cars…and it was much more than we had thought. His legwork saved us a missed day of work to go to Dothan! Beyond this, everyone we worked with was pleasant and helpful. Branson was entertaining and transparent. He let us know he was a little new and confirmed anything he wasn’t sure of. When we finished everything, it was late and after the time he got off. However, he realized they hadn’t filled it up and immediately went to do that for us. The finance person was also very helpful in explaining warranty options, how they compared, and how to use them. We had a great experience! This car was to replace an MKX that was totaled. We loved that car and hated having to go through this process at all. Your dealership took the stress out of the whole experience and made it fun. We will buy our next vehicle there and recommend you to others…Branson as well.

The only improvement would be to make the overall process a bit faster since there were some lag times between my trade-in appraisal and when I had to go through the finance paperwork but that is understandable since it takes some time to evaluate. I really liked that as well since I only had to sign a few times electronically and the rest was just agreeing and allowing my signature to transfer on other line items. 3/16/21 – Ok first of all we were directed to Sam Reese. This was perfect. He was so kind and knowledgeable throughout the purchase of my new Lincoln. He answered all of our questions and if he didn’t know or was unsure he asked another person. He wanted to make sure we had the correct info. Then, we were so impressed by everyone who came by and introduced themselves to us and told their position and offered their help if we needed it. Everyone was so kind and helpful. We had to go home and think about the offer and info which we did. We called and talked to Sam and David who was also super nice. He explained everything we had questions about and the best thing neither Sam or David never ever put any pressure on me to buy this vehicle. I thank them for that. Once I came back to purchase the vehicle every department was very knowledgeable about their job and making sure everything was good as well as me knowing how to operate the vehicle. Especially since I live two hours away. Evan (I think was his name ) in finance was so knowledgeable about the extended warranty and again he did not pressure us in getting it. He simply gave his opinion and what would work best for us and left it up to us to decide if we wanted to do it which we did because of all of the electronics on this vehicle. Then we were guided to the final step which I cannot remember the guys name or the young lady who helped us to go over the final questions. They were awesome. The final thing I must say is that I feel no hesitation that when and I already had to call Sam, that I know that I can call and they will be happy to help me. I do have to say that you have a great young man working for you. Sam had only been there two months and he knew so much about this vehicle so we were so blessed that he was our salesman!

I made an appointment a couple of weeks in advance for (1) the Ford recommended 10,000 mile service package and (2) to have two recalls cleared. I dropped the truck off in the early morning and picked it up mid-afternoon. There was no charge because the service work was covered by my “Ford Pass” rewards balance. I was extremely impressed by the professionalism and ease of the process. There were no surprises! The drop-off and pick-up were very efficient, and involved no “waiting.” All requested work was completed and documented on my invoice – which was ready and waiting, along with a requested multi-point inspection report. My vehicle was conveniently parked and ready for pick-up upon my arrival. The driver seat was covered with a plastic seat protector, and a quick walk-around inspection of the truck prior to leaving the dealership satisfied me that the service had been performed with respect for my investment. Finally, when I arrived home and checked my “Ford App”, I saw that Long-Lewis had updated my electronic service record and cleared my electronic recall notices. This dealership is conveniently located near I-65 and I was able to limp in to see if I could get some help. I explained to Jeni my situation and she went to the back to secure Joey to look at my problem. Joey crawled under the F-150 and quickly diagnosed the issue and said he could work on it. That was a great relief as I was developing solutions in my head concerning my continued travel. I spent two and a half hours in the dealership and was on my way, with expert advice from Joey about giving needed attention to a recall for engine shudder as soon as possible. The compassion and attention to customer service shown to a loyal Ford customer from out of state is greatly appreciated and so unexpected. You should know, because of the experiences I have had with the dealership in Panama City, I had extremely low expectations when I stopped at Long-Lewis. I now feel like I have friends at Ford.

Lady who answered the phone was very nice, gave her my VIN number and she looked it up and after touching base with someone asked if I could have it there by 8AM the next day, I said yes. Showed up at 8AM and not only did they complete it, they also did another recall that they had to find parts for. Simple and easy! LOL I did have to leave the van so I loaded my Kymco scooter in the back and rode it home while the work was completed. The other issue was a headlight bulb that was out, on the left side. That was also fixed. When we got home, we realized that a second bulb was not working, also on the left side. It had been working when we dropped the vehicle off for service. Making a return trip was necessary (but we live about 2 miles away, not a long trip). The technician said that even a small amount of oil on his fingers could cause an issue with the bulb. He quickly replaced the bulb at no additional charge. We appreciated the honesty and integrity, the quickness, and the end results of the work on the vehicle. We also appreciated, as always, the friendliness and courteousness of the service rep in the quick lane department. I can’t think of anything that could have been improved.

9/2/21 – The manager keeps track of every vehicle during different stages of multiple services I needed. The tire rotator technician noticed the right front brake pad almost metal to metal. The brake guy noticed caliper clips not releasing thus likely why that pad worn more than others and why vehicle always pulls to right. They replaced caliper, front pads, rotors, oil -steering fluid changes all in a couple of hours. My old faithful work truck drives like new!

The young lady was equally as professional and your mechanic discovered I needed new brake pads during the oil change. 10/2/20 – We arrived without an appointment and were immediately waited on. We were given the discount for the oil change and tire rotation. In addition they mounted, balanced and installed a tire. We were out the door in 45 minutes from the time we arrived. They then gave us a card to get a free car wash and interior cleaning from a nearby car wash facility. The car wash facility did a fantastic job also. It was a great overall experience.

8/31/20 – Wai is always so incredibly professional, friendly and helpful! This experience was no exception. My husband’s “low battery” light came on and he was planning to drive out of town that day. Wai wanted to check it out to be certain it wasn’t the alternator. I dropped my husband off at a coffee shop so he could work because we both thought it would probably be hours. Within an hour, Wai determined it was only the battery, had it changed, AND, for exceptional customer service…picked my husband up from the nearby coffee shop so as not to interrupt what I was needing to do! Now THAT is true and hard-to-find customer service! Wai has always gone a step beyond!

8/18/20 – Service Agent first stated they were backed up in the transmission dept and it might take two days before they could get to see what the trouble maybe. Instead they were able to correct the trouble in 2 Hours and the automobile was ready for Pickup on the same day of drop off. Great!

Before I got engrossed in my WordScapes game, Dude popped out with my keys, said they were all done, and that they’d redeemed my Pass Points. So easy!

7/27/20 – While traveling through your town our vehicle had some radiator issues and needed replacing. This was a Sunday afternoon which left us stranded. Although the service schedule was full, Mike worked us in Monday morning and was able to get us back in the road by early afternoon. My dad was in the hospital and very close to passing away. Thanks to the crew there I was able to make it back home before he passed.

7/23/20 – I had to drive 60 miles as my neighboring Ford dealership wouldn’t acknowledge my appointment with them and told me to come back some other time. I tried calling the Service Manager twice but he never returned my calls. Long-Lewis was wonderful. They started the service on my car ahead of my appointment time. They finished quickly and I was gone in about an hour. They adhered to social distancing, masks, etc. It’s worth the drive to return.
